CMOS time-gated imager from IRIS for lifetime imaging published on the JSSC

The IRIS time-gated sensor for fluorescence lifetime imaging microscopy (FLIM) has been published in the Journal of Solid-State Circuits:

A 160x120 Pixel Analog-Counting Single-Photon Imager With Time-Gating and Self-Referenced Column-Parallel A/D Conversion for Fluorescence Lifetime Imaging

The sensor is able to count photons occurring in a very short time window (down to 750ps) and can be used to reconstruct fast optical phenomena with reduced number of photons. Have a look at the paper for more information.
