Khatib received the B.Sc. degree in electronics and communication engineering in 2011 from Fayoum University, Egypt, with grade of Excellent with honors and ranked the 3rd in his department, and the M.Sc. degree in microelectronics systems design in 2014 from Nile University, Cairo, Egypt. He is currently pursuing PhD at the University of Trento (UNITN), Italy, and the Fondazione Bruno Kessler, where his activity is mainly focused on designing test structures and readout IC (ROIC) for THz Imagers. His research interests include CMOS-based FET detectors, analog and mixed signal IC Design, and Memristor-Based Circuits.
