Short bio

Luca Parmesan received the Laurea degree in electronics engineering from the University of Padua, Padua, Italy, in 2011. During 2011 he worked at the Integrated Radiation and Image Sensors (IRIS) research unit of Fondazione Bruno Kessler, Trento, Italy. In 2018 he was awarded with the Ph.D title at the Institute for Integrated Micro and Nano System, School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, The University of Edinburgh, Edinburgh, U.K. Since mid 2016 is working at Fondazione Bruno Kessler in the IRIS unit. His research interests are in the field of CMOS, with particular focus on image sensors with single photon detection and THz detection.
