Veronica Regazzoni received her Master Degree in Physics from Milan University in 2014. In the same year she moved to Trento University to attend the Ph.D. course in Physics. Her research activity is focused on the development, optimization and use of semiconductor devices, in particular silicon photomultipliers, for gamma imaging in Hadrontherapy. She is involved in Gammarad project. This project is the union of her previous research interests and new topics that will allow her to open up to new Physics fields. Until now, her research interests have concentrated on the interaction of radiation with matter, with an emphasis on revelation and radiation dosimetry and their application in medical fields. In particular she has worked on the most recent techniques for the treatment of cancer, such as Boron Neutron Capture Therapy and Hadrontherapy.
