Daniele Rucatti was born in Trento, Italy, in 1987.
He received the "Laurea" degree (B.Sc) in Electronics Engineering from the University of Padova in 2010, with a thesis entitled "Development of Wiimote-based applications for educational purposes". The full thesis, in italian, is available at http://tesi.cab.unipd.it/25091/.
In 2014 he received the "Laurea Magistrale" degree (M.Sc) in Electronics Engineering (cum laude) from the University of Padova, with a challenging thesis entitled "Integration in CMOS technology of a reading system for arrays of Hall effect magnetic sensors". The full thesis, in italian, is available at http://tesi.cab.unipd.it/47153/.
From september 2013 to december 2014 he did an internship at FBK, working within the IRIS research group on the Vimagic project. The work done has allowed him to get in touch for the first time with the world of research, to increase knowledge and skills in the design of integrated circuits and in the electronic measurements.
In 2015 Daniele started working in IRIS research group as junior researcher within the GammaRAD project. His current research interests are focused on the design of the reading electronics for SiPM sensors and on the characterization of the FBK SiPMs produced for the GammaRAD project. He will collaborate, with the other GammaRAD partners, to the development of a "Gamma Detection Module" (GDM). He is also the webmaster of the GammaRAD website https://gammarad.fbk.eu
