ViMagiC

ViMagiC is an internal explorative research project funded by CMM (Center of Material and Microsystem), FBK. ViMagiC will proof the possibility to use a CMOS magnetic imager as medical pre-diagnosis, food bacteriological analysis, banknote verification and crack analysis in magnetic materials. The main activity is the design of a CMOS magnetic imager, using different sensing devices (hall effect sensors, MAGFET, coil, etc.) fitting required sensitivity and noise performance.  Another activity will be the design and realization of the microfluidic system in order to interface the magnetic imager to the biological sample.
